We are thrilled to announce the success of Nick Berry’s Contracts Workshop for the International Live Music Conference 29, which he co-hosted on behalf of Coda Agency Ltd alongside Mads Sørensen (CEO, Beatbox Entertainment).
Nick employed his experience and know-how in the live events industry to field queries from agents, promoters and other conference delegates from around the world.
The workshop proved to be highly popular – with the room being at 140% of the capacity it was set up for. Many of the attendees sought advice on specific clauses in contracts they deal with on a day-to-day basis and were provided with constructive guidance by Nick and Sørensen.
Nick is known for providing pragmatic solutions to contractual disputes both in and outside the live events sector. His particular knowledge of the commercial realities of the festivals business - from both artist and promoter perspective - establishes him as an expert in this field.
Coda is a world class agency that were awarded Agency Of The Year at the 2016 Festival Awards and they are renowned for breaking new acts in the music industry and developing the careers of many great talents – including The xx, Take That, Disclosure, Bon Iver, Jess Glynne, Mark Ronson, Ellie Goulding and Tom Odell to name but a few.
