Testimonials
"We are an established franchisor and have been using Andrew Pena for many years. Andrew and his team consistently provide exceptional value for money and deliver great results for us in almost every case. They are the most commercial, results focused lawyers I have ever worked with and are a key part of making our business successful."

“We had a number of franchisees that were causing issues within our network: two franchisees were actively competing and under-declaring revenues, another was breaching her post-termination restrictive covenants and another was threatening to walk away from the business even though he had no legitimate complaint against us.
We had taken advice from other solicitors however they had no real strategy to sort all our issues. We sought a second opinion from Cubism Law, who were very practical with their advice. They came up with a clear strategy on each of the cases focused on the objectives we had discussed.
Once we had agreed the strategy they delivered precisely what they said they would. Not only did Cubism Law manage to stop the competing franchisees and ex-franchisee they recovered sufficient sums from them to more than cover our legal costs and compensate us for the losses we had incurred.
Since Cubism Law took a firm stance with our franchisees we have had no further problems within the network.”

“We are a US franchise concept that’s been running in the UK for over 10 years. We had a few franchisees that were simply not paying their royalties and attacking the business behind a competitive agenda. We used a number of franchise lawyers but none of them seemed to grasp the issue. Andrew Pena took a strategic approach whereby we picked them off one by one and then focused our energies on the ringleader. I am happy to say that the approach worked really well – we took decisive action against the ringleader which sent a really strong message to our network which we’re still benefiting from now. A great result to a very difficult situation.”

“We had a disaffected business associate who wanted to get out of his contractual commitments and even demanded a refund of monies he had paid us. He had no legitimate complaint and undoubtedly had a personal agenda but nevertheless he managed to persuade a number of others to support him in complaints to the DTI. A few months later the DTI presented a winding-up petition against the company. We contacted Andrew Pena immediately who handled it brilliantly. He prepared and successfully conducted our defence and without doubt saved our business. Now, several years later, we have established a strong and successful business. I’ll remain forever grateful to Andrew for his advice, expertise and invaluable support.”
