Writer gives franchise agreement tips
Published on 9 Jul 2009 under category: legal
Franchise agreements could be a good route to take during the economic downturn, it has been claimed.
Jackie David, writing for travelweekly.co.uk, suggested that while at face value now may not seem like a good time to "go it alone", those with ambition and experience may feel otherwise.
She commented a lack of job security and the fact that chances to raise cash are few and far between may mean that franchise agreements could be the way forward for some.
Ms David points out the opportunities of travel franchises, with a spokesperson for Thomson telling the writer that those taking this business path generally enjoy a strong pool of resources, training and support.
The spokesperson added: "Another advantage is having the familiarity of a large brand behind them so they gain widespread brand recognition."
Earlier this week, Linda Whitney, writing for thisismoney.co.uk, suggested that franchise agreements can be the first step in creating a "business empire".
