A police officer and two civilian police workers have appeared in court in relation to fraud crimes.

PC Manjit Singh Marva, of West Midlands Police, appeared at Nuneaton Magistrates Court alongside Adam Warwick and David Vidgen.

The three men are accused of conspiracy to defraud the police force and misconduct in public office.

These relate to alleged attempted fraud crimes worth as much as £200,000 through the submission of false invoices.

PC Singh Marva, Mr Warwick and Mr Vidgen have been granted unconditional bail and are now due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on August 14th.

It is alleged that the false invoices were submitted to West Midlands Police between July 2005 and September 2006 and related to work that had not been carried out.

Recently, Paul Page, a former royal officer, was jailed for six years in relation to fraud crimes.

A court heard that Mr Page defrauded 57 people over three years in a property scheme.ADNFCR-2391-ID-19297811-ADNFCR
