A police officer is among the six men who have been charged with alleged fraud crimes.
PC Manjit Singh Marva, along with two civilian police workers, have been suspended and are due in court next month.
A statement from West Midlands Police confirmed that six men have been charged with "conspiracy to defraud" the force.
It added that they are set to appear in a Nuneaton court on August 4th.
The charges relate to the alleged submission and payment of false invoices.
David Clark, the West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service's senior lawyer, told the Express and Star that this follows an investigation which has lasted more than 12 months.
He added: "I am now satisfied that there is sufficient evidence for a realistic prospect of conviction against all of the six individuals."
Last week, three HSBC companies were fined a total of £3.2 million by the City regulator over concerns regarding lost data, which could result in fraud crimes if it were to fall into the wrong hands.
