Man admits counterfeiting fraud crimes

A man has appeared in court for multi-million pound fraud crimes.
Gary Bellchambers has admitted his involvement in a scam related to a fake golf club company.
Snaresbrook Crown Court heard that the 45 year old operated the scheme on internet auction website eBay, investigators of fraud crimes may be interested to hear.
It was revealed that customers paid for fake golf clubs and accessories in a scam worth millions of pounds.
The court was told that this scheme was carried out on a scale that had "never been seen before".
Several other men are also accused of being involved in the crimes.
Prosecutor Adam Davis said that those responsible had played a part in selling items worth "hundreds of thousands of pounds, if not millions of pounds".
Earlier this week, a former managing director of a finance firm appeared in court in related to suspected fraud crimes.
