In The Box set for Insolvency Service shutdown
Published on 17 Sep 2009 under category: legal
A County Durham-based business is set to be closed down by a government body, it has been revealed.
In The Box, which specialises in the supply of fitted kitchens, will be shut down by the Insolvency Service.
This comes after a probe by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills' companies investigation branch, insolvency solicitors may be interested to hear.
The examination ruled that the company should be wound up in the public interest.
It has been revealed that the closure of the business, which was previously based in Bolton, will be the subject of a High Court hearing on October 15th.
In other news which may be of interest to insolvency solicitors, noteholders for Six Flags, which is one of the world's largest theme park operators, have announced a bankruptcy plan.
The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June, before later revealing proposals which would see the firm restructured.
