Franchise agreements 'can start business empire'
Published on 7 Jul 2009 under category: legal
Franchise agreements could be the way to start a multi-unit business, according to a source.
Linda Whitney, writing for thisismoney.co.uk, comments that many franchisees end up taking on more outlets after experiencing initial success.
Julian Urry, managing director for Cash Generator, told the news provider that this is part of his firm's "strategic direction".
He said: "Any franchisee looking to open multiple stores should have a vision of where they want to be in the medium to long term and set a strategy that will help them achieve their goals."
However, he added that this direction will not be the correct path for everyone taking out franchise agreements, although he went on to say that Cash Generator has seen a boost in people wanting to open multiple stores.
Last week, the Financial Post reported that executives looking to change their career direction are turning to white collar franchise agreements as a way of doing so.
