Firm looks for franchise owners

A firm has revealed that when it looks to fill franchise agreement opportunities it looks for a special sort of individual, according to a source.
Chemex comments that it recruits "super franchise owners", reports thefranchisemagazine.net.
It states that this refers to people who are capable of "growing substantial business".
Ron Hutton, sales director with the company, told the news provider that there has been interest in the firm's franchise agreement positions saying that, despite the recession, there are "plenty of good people out there who are willing to invest in their future."
He added: "Our strategy is to recruit franchise owners who want to grow substantial and profitable businesses - we are not interested in those candidates who are just looking for a steady job."
Last week, the Manchester Evening News reported that Two Feet for Kids franchise agreement opportunities had became available around the country, at a cost of £9,490 plus value added tax.
