Dresdner employees to sue over bonuses

Published on 9 Sep 2009 under category: legal

An investment bank is being sued over a row regarding unpaid bonuses.

Traders who either previously or currently work at Dresdner are taking this action in a suit worth £30 million, those involved in corporate litigation may be interested to hear.

The 72 bankers are suing this amount for unpaid bonuses, stating that they were given less than they had expected by their employer.

Several of those behind the legal action state that they are owed £1 million by Dresdner.

The argument centres on bankers claiming that they received ten per cent of the amount they had been promised in bonuses earlier this year after a takeover deal.

It is also thought that several other employees could be set to launch a separate lawsuit in relation to this matter.
