More employment disputes may occur in the public sector as a result of proposals listed in the emergency Budget.
The chancellor announced yesterday (June 22nd) that there would be a two-year pay freeze for all public sector employees.
In addition, pension payouts for people working in the public sector are to be reformed in the coming years.
Experts have suggested that the emergency Budget has had a negative impact on public sector staff as well as people claiming state benefits.
Martin Bamford, managing director at financial advisory firm Informed Choice, said: "Many of the measures keep things quite simple and the focus on spending cuts rather than tax rises is a fair way of dealing with a budget deficit made unaffordable by years of excessive growth in the public sector."
He added: "Overall I think this was a better than expected Budget, unless you are a public sector employee or on benefits."
