Becoming a Cubism Consultant

Based in Chancery Lane next to the Law Society, Cubism Law is a young entrepreneurial commercial law firm. Originally set up in 2006 as a boutique franchising practice we currently have 14 consultants and an annual turnover of around £3 million.

Cubism Law recruits senior lawyers with established credentials. Based on a barristers chambers model our business is focused upon properly rewarding lawyers for the income they generate. We offer a collegiate environment where each lawyer is provided with:

• Cover under our PI insurance (Limit £10 Million)

• Paralegal Resource (shared with other Consultants)

• Office ( Normally shared )

• Comprehensive IT systems enabling remote working

• Access to Business Development and Marketing expertise

• Assistance with Legal 500 and Chambers submissions

• Finance department that processes all transactions (invoicing, ledgers, reconciliations etc.)

• All standard Office equipment

Our senior fee earners are consultants, not partners. They each manage their own profit centre, which allows them to receive a much fairer percentage of the fees received by the firm for the work they undertake. Our business model is focused on freeing up the individual to allow them to manage their clients whilst developing their practice.

For an entrepreneurial lawyer it is an ideal model to grow their practice based on developing strong client relationships and delivering quality legal advice, whilst having the support and benefits of a central office and a network of like-minded colleagues. We are keen to further expand our offering through the acquisition of solicitors working in complementary fields.
